Programme Manager – High-Frequency Data – Contract

Location: London (Hybrid Working)

Contract Rate: Up to £800 per day Inside IR35

Duration: Minimum of 6 months

We are working with a leading financial services organisation seeking an experienced Programme Manager to drive the delivery of complex high-frequency data projects. This role is a key leadership position that requires expertise in managing large-scale programmes within fast-paced, high-pressure environments.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of high-frequency data programmes, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, software developers, and key stakeholders, to ensure seamless execution.
  • Implement and oversee governance frameworks, risk management strategies, and performance metrics to ensure programme success.
  • Manage multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment, prioritising tasks and resolving roadblocks efficiently.
  • Report on progress to senior leadership and stakeholders, providing clear communication on project milestones, risks, and dependencies.

Key Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale programmes within the financial services sector , particularly in high-frequency data environments.
  • Strong knowledge of data pipelines, real-time processing, and data management frameworks.
  • Exceptional leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and drive decisions across all levels of an organisation.
  • Expertise in Agile and Waterfall methodologies , with the ability to tailor approaches based on project needs.
  • Strong analytical skills and a detail-oriented mindset, with the ability to manage complex technical and operational challenges.
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party partnerships to deliver programme objectives.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role , requiring candidates to be based in London with the ability to attend onsite meetings as needed.
  • Candidates must have prior experience within the financial services sector , ideally with exposure to trading, investment banking, or similar high-pressure environments.
