Life Skills Trainers

teaching qualification (PTLLS, AET, CET, or equivalent) preferred
Experience: Teaching, coaching, or vocational training, ideally within a prison or similar setting
Literacy integration, adaptive teaching, restorative practices, employability training
Adaptive Teaching Practices: Promote Literacy and Digital Skills: Integrate reading and digital literacy into lessons to boost literacy as a core employability skill, with a focus on supporting learners with low literacy levels.
Work closely with prison departments, CIAG, Work & Skills Coaches, employers, and other stakeholders to create employment pathways and support reintegration.
A Level 2 qualification in PSD, Employability, or Life Skills training, with experience in delivering engaging, inclusive courses.
A recognised teaching qualification, such as PTLLS, AET, CET, or a willingness to work towards a Level 5 teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTTLS).
