About the Role:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized self-starter to join our Worldwide Food Safety and Compliance team as a Private Brands Senior Food Regulatory Manager. This role will focus on leading the management of all regulatory aspects relating to the launch of new own label food products for Amazon own label products.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Work with the team to ensure product selection meets EU regulatory requirements.
  • Work with wider team to ensure product selection is appropriate and will meet or exceed customer expectations.
  • Work with manufacturing partners to ensure products have the correct regulatory and technical documentation.
  • Attend pre-production/first production runs ensuring product and process match that defined in the specification.
  • Keep abreast of new and upcoming EU regulation and emerging issues in food safety and quality.
  • Support the wider food safety team by contributing to shared process and policy development.
  • Continuously identify and communicate improvement opportunities.
  • Leverage technology to manage compliance processes.
Requirements:
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level.
  • Experience in compliance, audit or risk management.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification.
  • Experience leveraging technology and implementing lean principles/Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements or equivalent.
