At Amazon we're working to be the most customer-centric company on earth. We are looking for a dynamic, organized self-starter to join our Worldwide Food Safety and Compliance team as a Private Brands Senior Food Regulatory Manager.
This position will focus on leading the management of all regulatory aspects relating to the launch of new own label food products for Amazon own label products, ensuring they exceed customer expectations. The role will be involved in all stages from new product concept, through to the launch of the product and post launch product regulatory review.
The individual will bring experience and knowledge of a number of food categories, to the team and support private label regulatory decisions. This role requires in-depth knowledge and expertise in EU food regulation. The individual must be detail oriented and have excellent organizational skills, a high bar for quality, strong customer obsession, and a track record of operating in a dynamic environment. Work with the team to ensure product selection meet EU regulatory requirements
• Work with manufacturing partners to ensure products have the correct regulatory and technical documentation
• Keep abreast of new and upcoming EU regulation and emerging issues in food safety and quality
• Support the wider food safety team by contributing to shared process and policy development
• Leverage technology to manage compliance processes
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and applications at an advanced level
- Experience in compliance, audit or risk management
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification
- Master's degree or equivalent
