Are you an experienced primary teacher with a passion for making a difference in the crucial Year 6 transition? We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join a vibrant Stockport-based primary school in January. This is an exciting opportunity to help shape the future of young learners and support them through an essential phase of their education.Key Responsibilities: Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Year 6 curriculum.Track and monitor student progress, providing tailored support to meet individual needs.Prepare students for SATs, ensuring they reach their full academic potential.Foster a positive learning environment, managing classroom behaviour effectively.Work collaboratively with school staff, parents, and the community to ensure the best outcomes for pupils.Requirements: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and experience teaching in a UK primary school, ideally with Year 6 experience.Strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly in preparing for SATs.Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire confidence and motivation in students.Passionate about promoting a nurturing, supportive environment for children’s learning and growth.Available full-timeIf you are interested in this role, please send an up to date copy of your CV alongside your application.When applying through Teaching Personnel, an enhanced DBS on the update service is a required document.
