Geography Teacher Job Description

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Geography Teacher to join our Humanities Department at a secondary school in Cheshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Geography to students from Year 7 to sixth form, with a focus on delivering engaging and interactive lessons that cater to the needs of all learners.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Teach Geography to students from Year 7 to sixth form, following the National Curriculum and school policies
* Plan and deliver lessons that are engaging, interactive, and tailored to the needs of all learners
* Assess and provide feedback to students on their progress and understanding
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement effective teaching strategies
* Contribute to the development of the Humanities Department and the school's overall curriculum

**Requirements:**

* A teaching degree with QTS and recent experience of delivering KS3/4 Geography
* A passion for teaching and learning, with a commitment to providing high-quality education to all students
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, students, and parents
* A commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to adapt to changing circumstances
