Job Description

OWL have recently teamed up with a creative design and branding studio in North London. We will be assisting this immense ‘one-stop shop’ powerhouse find a part-time Studio Manager.


The Studio


Our client has been producing content for brands for close to 15 years. From ideation to execution; logo and branding design, signage, packaging design, creation (including mural sized projects), web design and aesthetics, music collaborations, film and video campaigns.


The Role


We are looking for an experienced Studio Manager to join the team on an initial 2 day per week basis, however they are open to extending the days if you can provide a creative input elsewhere in the business.


You will be assisting the Founders with the administrative and financial tasks, whilst also project managing for the studio.


Key responsibilities include:


Operational Management


  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the studio.
  • Manage project proposals and planning using WorkflowMax2.
  • Ensure efficient workflow management and resource allocation.


Financial Management

  • Handle invoicing and financial tracking using Xero.
  • Monitor budgets and expenses to ensure profitability.


Project Management

  • Lead and coordinate projects from inception to completion.
  • Use project management tools like UseMotion to track progress.


Required Skills and Software Proficiency

  • Proficiency in Xero for financial management.
  • Experience with WorkflowMax2 for project planning and management.
  • Familiarity with UseMotion for scheduling and task management.
  • Familiarity with design software such as Figma and Adobe Creative Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator).


Qualifications


  • Previous experience in studio or project management within a creative environment.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration.
  • Ability to work flexibly, approximately three days a week, adapting to the studio's needs.
