Our clients are a leading Design & Build company in London, recognised for their exceptional work with high-profile clients. Their commitment to integrity, mutual respect, and an employee-centric culture sets them apart.
The Role: As Studio Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of our studio. You will need to be highly organised, detail-oriented, and capable of handling extensive administrative tasks. The role involves managing the day-to-day operations of the studio, overseeing timesheet software, and providing executive support to the Creative Director.
Key Responsibilities:
- Studio Administration: Oversee studio operations, including timesheet management, resource allocation, and scheduling. Proficiency in using timesheet software is essential – experience with Harvest is a significant advantage.
- Executive Support: Provide PA support to the Creative Director, including diary management, booking travel, running errands, and managing paperwork.
- Project Coordination: Ensure that studio resources and project timelines align with business objectives, while keeping everything on track.
- Team Support: Coordinate the design team’s holiday schedules and assist in onboarding new hires, ensuring smooth integration into the team.
- Communication: Serve as the liaison between the design team and other key departments, ensuring clear communication and workflow efficiency.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain and manage project documentation, prepare reports, and ensure all stakeholders are updated on progress.
- Problem Solving: Address bottlenecks, manage studio workflow, and assist project managers with risk management and project deadlines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience as a Studio Manager or in a similar role within an Architecture or Design & Build environment is key.
- Organisation: Exceptional organisational skills with a strong ability to multitask and prioritise administrative duties.
- Technical Proficiency: Experience with timesheet management software and strong IT skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate confidently and effectively with senior management and across departments.
- Problem-Solving: A proactive approach to solving problems and managing changing priorities within a busy studio environment.
If you're a driven, organised, and adaptable Studio Manager looking to take on a role where administration and project coordination are key, we’d love to hear from you
