About Us:
We specialise in running cutting-edge AI innovation hackathons to help major corporations solve their key challenges using fresh, AI-powered ideas. In addition, we connect corporates with startups from our three-month AI incubator program, fostering collaboration to iterate solutions and trial them through proofs of concept.
Role Overview:
We’re looking for a dynamic and results-driven salesperson to join our team. Your mission is threefold:
1. Sell AI Innovation Hackathons: Position our hackathons as a high-impact innovation tool to major corporates, helping them tackle their pressing issues with AI solutions.
2. Identify Corporate Partners: Find corporates interested in AI solutions from our incubator startups. Facilitate collaborations that lead to solution iteration and proof of concept trials.
3. Event Sponsorship: We host over 40 events annually and you would seek corporate sponsorship opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Drive sales of AI hackathons, tailoring pitches to align with corporate objectives.
• Build and manage relationships with decision-makers like CTOs, innovation leads, and executives in major corporations.
• Identify corporate partners interested in incubator startups’ AI solutions.
• Devise and execute lead-generation strategies, including:
• Managing a dedicated telesales lead generator.
• Host exclusive events (judges’ dinners, CTO breakfasts etc).
• Represent the company at trade shows, speaking engagements, and networking events.
• Coordinate digital marketing (email campaigns, LinkedIn marketing, webinars).
Requirements:
• Proven experience in B2B sales, ideally in tech, innovation, or AI-related fields.
• Strong network within corporate innovation, technology, or R&D sectors is a plus.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and think strategically to identify and close deals.
• A passion for AI, innovation, and startup ecosystems is highly desirable.
What We Offer:
• Competitive basic salary of £45,000.
• Very generous uncapped commission scheme (25% of all revenue generated).
