This is an ideal opportunity for a highly numerate, detail-oriented individual who is ready to train in Payroll and obtain a Chartered Institute of Payroll Professionals (CIPP) qualification with our support.OverviewAs a Payroll Assistant, you will play a key part in our monthly payroll processing for over 500 employees, working closely with our Payroll Officer and the Human Resources team. This role includes managing HMRC reporting, pension administration, and handling various payroll-related tasks. You'll also be responsible for maintaining accurate records, assisting with year-end processes, and providing support for payroll queries.ResponsibilitiesMonthly payroll processing for over 500 employeesManaging HMRC reporting and pension administrationMaintaining accurate records and assisting with year-end processesProviding support for payroll queriesQualificationsDegree-level education in Finance or BusinessStrong numeracy and IT skills, especially in Excel; Sage experience desirableGreat communication skills and a positive team playerAttention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks with diligenceSome office experience is preferredDay-to-dayCollaborating with the Payroll Officer and HR teamProcessing payroll and managing related tasksAssisting with year-end processes and payroll queriesBenefitsWe value teamwork and the contribution of every employee.
