What you'll do In your new role, you’ll be managing the capture and analysis of Finance benchmarking and activity analysis data. In the course of your work, we’ll look to you to develop simple ways to capture and analyse data, making it easily accessible and we’ll also look to you to build, manage and maintain a positive working relationship with stakeholders and third-party suppliers.
You’ll own and develop a Finance wide approach to industry benchmarking and support the implementation of specific structural changes in partnership with HR organisation design teams, ensuring alignment with the design principles that enable changes to the Business Operating Model. You’ll also support the tracking and follow up of Finance Operating Model changes in line with Finance goals.
In addition, you’ll:
Plan and deliver the activities to input to industry benchmarking in line with timelines, managing the capture and approval of data Be responsible for the development of tools and owning the Finance activity analysis enabling simple and consistent capture of data Maintain the timeline for refreshed aligned to industry benchmarking and business operating model considerations Seek data to support and feed into business operating model considerations underway from external and internal data points that help build the case for change Track data on all operating model changes and feed into Finance reporting and the operating model design authority Create and maintain documentation, as well as support controls and quality assurance for key stakeholders and suppliers
The skills you'll need You’ll ideally have experience of industry benchmarking exercises with an awareness of Finance processes and teams to identify key data elements to support business operating model reviews. Additionally, you’ll have an analytical mindset, experience of data led improvement, with strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise your work.
You’ll also need:
The ability to develop tools and apply AI to support in simpler collection of data across Finance An awareness of business operating model levers to support on identification of patterns and opportunities through activity analysis and benchmarking Good stakeholder management skills to engage with leaders on the gathering and approvals of data in line with timelines Strong data analysis skills to enable the identification, tracking and reporting of OKRs to Finance forums Experience of applying business and data analysis tools and techniques with a background of delivering business analysis in a programme or project function
