About the Role:

We’re looking for a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to become a key member of our dynamic school community. Working closely with our dedicated teachers and SENCO, you will play an essential role in providing personalized support to students, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities:

Morning Support: Provide tailored assistance to students with SEMH needs, including those with ADHD and potential self-harming behaviors.
Afternoon Flexibility: Adapt to a range of learning needs, supporting students across Key Stages 1 and 2.
Nurturing Environment: Use your expertise to create an inclusive and supportive space where all children feel valued and empowered to succeed.
Collaborative Teamwork: Partner with teachers and the SENCO to deliver individualized support plans and effective interventions.
Fostering Growth: Build strong, positive relationships with students, guiding them through their academic, emotional, and social development.

What We’re Looking For:

Experience: Prior experience as a SEN Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
Knowledge: A solid understanding of SEN, safeguarding, and child protection practices is essential.
Team Player: The ability to work collaboratively within a team, while also being confident in taking initiative independently.
Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills to build meaningful connections with students and staff.
Qualifications: Relevant qualifications and/or training in education, SEN, or child development are desirable but not essential.
