Pay Range/details: Up to £45,000 per annum (Price work)

Contract Type: Permanent

Omega are supporting the largest electrical and solar installer in their search for a Solar PV Installer to join their fast-expanding team working around the Nottingham Area. Starting on £490 per week for the first 3 months, you will then move to a price work model.

This role includes helping move materials, working on scaffolding and assisting fitting the panels as a team. You will be expected to ensure the site is kept clean and tidy, unloading, and assisting with deliveries and general labouring duties. The right Solar PV Installer will join a motivated team that has an emphasis on delivering quality installations in this exciting industry.

Key Responsibilities – Solar PV Installer

Installation of Solar PV on new build, domestic & commercial properties.
Setting out and stringing the panels as per the design provided.
Running and connecting the DC cables.
Gathering photo evidence.
Completing relevant forms through our app-based system.

Qualifications & Requirements – Solar PV Installer

Practical experience in the construction industry or similar would be an advantage.
IPAF and telehandler licence a distinct advantage.
Methodical, accurate and process focused approach to tasks.
Flexibility to work and travel throughout the UK.
Ability to read and follow detailed instructions, follow technical drawings measure distances, and perform calculations using phone or calculator.
CSCS card and site experience is preferable but not necessary.
Full UK Manual Driving Licence.
