Job Title: Solar PV Business Development Manager

Prosper Recruitment is partnering with a pioneering energy solutions provider to find a results-driven Solar PV Business Development Manager. This role requires a deep understanding of the renewable energy market, excellent communication skills, and a passion for promoting sustainable energy practices.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the commercial solar PV sector.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, project developers, contractors, and industry partners.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive analysis to inform business strategies.
  • Prepare and present compelling proposals and presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits and value of solar PV solutions.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and project management teams to ensure proposals are technically sound and aligned with client requirements.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals to achieve or exceed sales targets and revenue goals.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of business development initiatives, providing regular updates to senior management.
  • Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote Path Energy and expand the company's presence in the market.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Renewable Energy, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business development or sales, preferably within the renewable energy or solar industry - B2B.
  • Strong understanding of solar PV technology, project financing, and the commercial energy market.
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and developing new business relationships.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
