Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented Kitchen Designer to join our team in creating bespoke kitchen designs for our clients. The ideal candidate will have expertise in CAD software, excellent organizational skills, and a flair for upselling products.We work with our clients both in our showroom and in their home to ensure we fully understand and meet their needs.
Responsibilities:
- Meet with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints for their kitchen design and installation.
- Use software to create detailed kitchen designs that meet the client's specifications while considering functionality, aesthetics, and available space.
- Provide accurate price quotes for the proposed designs, including materials, labor, and any additional services, ensuring transparency and clarity for the customer.
- Use effective sales techniques to persuade customers, negotiate terms, and close deals, aiming to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Oversee the entire project, coordinating with suppliers and installation teams to ensure timely delivery and quality installation of the kitchen.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer queries, concerns, and issues promptly and professionally throughout the design and installation process.
- Ensure that the installed kitchens meet the company's quality standards and customer expectations, addressing any defects or issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, designs, contracts, and payments, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company policies.
- Build and maintain professional relationships with suppliers, contractors, and other industry professionals to stay updated on trends, products, and best practices.
- Offer post-installation support, addressing any post-sales issues, providing maintenance advice, and ensuring customer satisfaction even after the project is completed.
- Stay informed about market trends, customer preferences, and competitors' offerings to adapt sales and design strategies accordingly.
Skills:
- Strong skills in kitchen design software and a keen eye for aesthetics are crucial to creating visually appealing kitchen layouts.
- In-depth knowledge of various kitchen products, materials, and appliances to assist customers in making informed choices.
- Effective communication, both verbal and written, is essential to understand customer requirements and convey design ideas clearly.
- Excellent customer service skills to build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and provide personalized solutions.
- Adept at sales techniques, including upselling, cross-selling, and closing deals to meet sales targets and boost the company's revenue.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Keen attention to detail to create accurate designs, estimate costs, and prevent errors during the installation process.
- Strong problem-solving skills to address customer concerns, resolve design challenges, and provide viable solutions.
- Efficient time management skills to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and balance design work with customer interactions.
- Building a professional network within the industry, including suppliers and contractors, can open doors to new opportunities and resources.
