About the Service
We offer rehabilitation and care to people with acquired brain injuries and other neurological conditions. Main Purpose of the Role
As a Senior Physiotherapist, you will assess, implement, and evaluate person-centred rehabilitation programmes within a multidisciplinary team. You will take responsibility for ensuring continuity and consistency in the physical management of service users and will demonstrate senior-level clinical, technical, and research skills through your breadth and depth of knowledge.

Main Tasks and Responsibilities
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of service users to optimise their independence and physical function
• Formulate individualised rehabilitation and treatment plans using analytical and investigative skills
• Promote choice and ensure the service user’s experience is positive, encouraging them to raise concerns or complaints
• Liaise and collaborate with other health and social care professionals in the planning and delivery of care
• Prescribe, provide, and maintain appropriate equipment within available resources
• Maintain up-to-date written and electronic records in accordance with professional standards, ensuring sensitive information is stored securely
• Demonstrate clinical leadership and promote clinical supervision
• Share knowledge and expertise through formal and informal teaching
• Lead on the localised training plan to ensure staff are equipped to provide physiotherapy interventions
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure service user confidentiality is upheld
• Occasionally undertake reasonable additional tasks as required

About You
• Diploma/BSc in Physiotherapy
• Current and valid registration with the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC)
• Current membership with a professional body, such as the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP)
• Membership in a specialist interest group (e.g., ACPIN or ACPOPC), or willingness to join
• Evidence of Continued Professional Development (CPD)
• Experience working in a relevant setting
• Demonstrable experience in using evidence-based practice and outcome measures
• Skilled in physiotherapy assessments and interventions, with the ability to use complex clinical reasoning
