Shirley Parsons are partnered with an exciting and dynamic company leading the way for renewable energy within construction. This company has both production and installations aspects of the business and are therefore seeking candidates with experience across construction and manufacturing. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop within a role that will make health and safety the focal point of operations. This position will be based out of Clevedon but will require national travel to various site locations when needed. 

The Health and Safety Manager will be responsible for: 
- Ensuring safety standards are maintained across both business units
- Drive the creation and management of health, safety and compliance monitoring systems throughout the workplace
- Report on all health & safety metrics as well as the progression of key deliverables on a monthly basis
- Investigate all accidents, incidents and/or near misses to identify root causes and mitigate against repeat occurrences

The SHEQ Manager will have:
- Extensive knowledge of health & safety legislation, guidelines and risk assessments
- Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to address issues in a time efficient manner
- Proven experience in a Health & Safety Manager role within a comparable industry
- Excellent communication and workload management skills with the ability to work with a variety of stakeholders and to strict deadlines
