Job Title: SHEQ Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor to join our team in the UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for contributing to the development and implementation of our SHEQ and Energy management systems, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations, and promoting a positive SHEQ and Energy culture across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SHEQ and Energy management systems to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to established procedures.
  • Provide training and support to management and employees on SHEQ and Energy best practices.
  • Investigate and report on incidents and near misses, and implement corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
  • Develop and maintain databases and records related to SHEQ and Energy performance.
  • Collaborate with the SHEQ and Energy Manager and other stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of SHEQ and Energy initiatives.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in SHEQ and Energy management, preferably in the water, engineering, or fabrication industry.
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of ISO standards and auditing (ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, and 50001).
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with management and employees at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with the ability to prepare Excel spreadsheets, reports in Word, and presentations in PowerPoint.
