About the Role

Hydro International is seeking a highly skilled SHEQ Advisor to join our team. As a SHEQ Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental well-being of our employees, customers, and the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective SHEQ policies, procedures, and programs to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate potential risks and hazards.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on SHEQ procedures and best practices.
  • Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure SHEQ considerations are integrated into business decisions.
Requirements
  • NEBOSH General/Construction Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety.
  • NEBOSH Environmental Management Certificate, or IEMA Environmental or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of experience in a SHEQ role, preferably in the water, engineering, or fabrication industry.
  • Strong knowledge of relevant laws and regulations, including ISO 45001, 9001, 14001, and 50001.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
