Adept Resourcing are proud to be retained by a rapidly growing client in the oil, gas and nuclear markets. As the team continues to grow, we are on the lookout for a Management Accountant to bolster their finance team.
Over the last 5 years the company has seen major success with further growth planned in the future. With a large order-book and significant opportunities in the pipeline now is a fantastic time for a motivated Management Accountant to come on-board.

The right Management Accountant will be a crucial element of the Finance Team, reporting directly to the Finance Manager. You will be responsible for producing accurate financial accountants, forecasts, budgets and analysis for both internal and external use.

The Management Accountant will be responsible for:

Developing financial analysis and reporting, including standardising or automating existing reporting
Monitoring and controlling key WIP /Raw Material stocks
Owning and generating financial accounts package for a number of sites / business units, including preparation of management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, statutory accounts and fixed asset register controls
Monitor and reporting on the financial performance of separate business units, including working with the factory management to improve cost / utilisation performance
Ensuring compliance with accounting standards
Systems and controls required to produce accurate financial information
Preparing ad-hoc reports as required by Finance and Business management
Management Account Requirements:

Qualified Accountant or actively working towards qualification (CIMA, ACCA, ACA or equivalent).
Self-motivated and able to work on your own initiative.
Ability to work under pressure and manage changing priorities whilst still working to a high level of detail.
Take ownership and see tasks through from start to finish.
Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong analytical skills.
Be adaptable, flexible and inquisitive.
Show desire to review and improve existing processes.
Strong personality to be able to challenge operations.Highly Desirable:
