Role Requirements;
As an Office-Based Business Development Executive, you will be focused on driving new business opportunities.
Your primary responsibility will be to engage with potential new clients over the phone, establishing a relationship, explaining our offering clearly and then keeping in touch until an opportunity develops.
This will involve finding contact details and ‘hunting’ for relevant contacts within the industry companies that we target.
You’ll work closely with the sales team and marketing department to hunt down and obtain enquiries.
Responsibilities:
* Lead Generation, Carry out Business Development calls to prospective clients within relevant organisations.
* Use CRM system to contact individuals that have contacted but not transacted (lost & lapsed deals).
* Hand over opportunities to sales team once they have progressed from a lead to a deal.
* Schedule visits for on road representatives to develop opportunities.
Relationship Building:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with potential clients.
* Collaborate with the sales team to convert leads into customers.
Market Research:
* Understand the industries we serve and how our products fit into these industries.
CRM Management:
* Update and maintain accurate records in the company’s CRM system.
* Track interactions, leads, and conversions
* Management of personal Lead pipeline.
Personal Requirements;
* Previous experience in a phone-based sales or business development role.
* Excellent communication skills and a friendly, genuine phone manner.
* Self-motivated, target-driven, and results-oriented.
* Ability to work quickly and efficiently, humble, hungry and smart.
Targets/KPIs;
* New customer acquisition in the waste recycling, water and manufacturing industries.
* Achieving KPI’s consistently for outbound calls. Setting new standards for activity levels within company.
* Creating and executing plans to target certain companies or industries.
* Effective management of CRM system and pipeline.
Success Criteria;

This role Pays £30k - £40k and is office based Monday to Friday
