About The Role
Hennel Lane is a 5-bed home in a quiet residential street on Walton Park in Preston. We provide support for young adults with learning disabilities and physical disabilities to live the life they love The individuals we support here at Hennel Lane love spending time in the garden when their families come to visit. They love all things arts and crafts and have been known to make their own bird feeders and sit and watch the birds enjoy They love baking and making ginger bread houses in the winter months on the run up to Christmas They celebrate each other’s birthdays with parties and lots of food and of course cake A few of the individuals we support here at Hennel Lane have recently been on holiday, supported by staff and had the most amazing time

As a Senior Support Worker, you’ll be instrumental in providing high-quality, enabling care, facing new challenges and rewards daily. Your leadership and expertise are key to our success. Key Responsibilities 
Develop and maintain detailed, person-centered support plans that promote health, wellbeing, relationships, and diversity, while ensuring compliance with legal and safety standards. 
Implement robust activity plans that encourage autonomy, new experiences, and flexibility, regularly engaging with individuals to seek their views. 
Support individuals in financial planning, medication self-administration, and regular health reviews, adhering to the Mental Capacity Act principles. 
Tailor the environment to meet individual needs, ensuring Health and Safety policies, including Fire Safety, are followed. 
Recruit and manage staff through robust induction, supervision, and training processes, ensuring person-centered schedules and personal development plans. 
Deliver outstanding care and support by adhering to Salutem's Quality Assurance framework, embodying core values, and managing incidents according to policies. Apply Today
