Our client is an award-winning Main Contractor that was established over 6 years ago and has a turnover around £10m.

Located in Bedfordshire, they normally work with a range of clients including public sector, Local Authorities and Housing associations.

They typically work on smaller residential schemes that consist of 10 to 20 Units. They also work on smaller commercial schemes.

The Directors of the business previously worked with market leading and highly regarded nationwide main contractors in senior leadership positions before establishing the business.

Due to this, they have been able to put in place a robust process to deliver every project, ensuring that every single project is completed to the highest quality.

The Role – Design Coordinator

Our client is currently seeking to recruit a Design Coordinator to join their team in Bedfordshire working directly under the Design Manager.

These projects will typically range form £1 - £5 million and this individual will get involved in multiple projects at various stages.

Roles and responsibilities include but are not limited to:

* Collaborating closely with clients to understand intricate design requirements and converting them into clear directives for designers

* Ensuring alignment of all designs with brand standards and maintaining consistency

* Overseeing the entire design lifecycle, from recruitment of designers to budget management and project supervision

* Maintaining the company's library of visual assets used in promotional materials

* Contributing to brainstorming sessions with designers to foster innovation in product concepts and design enhancements

* Directing and guiding designers to ensure compliance with client specifications

* Evaluating designs for visual appeal and adherence to brand guidelines

* Assessing contractor bids for feasibility and accuracy in pricing

* Cultivating strong relationships with contractors to uphold project deadlines and financial targets
