Job Title: Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) - Special Needs Primary School (SEMH Focus) in Harrow
Are you a resilient and passionate Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) ready to make a lasting impact on the lives of children with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs? We are seeking a dedicated PE Teacher to join our special needs primary school in Harrow, where you'll work with pupils who face behavioural challenges and require additional support to thrive.

We are looking for a Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) who can inspire, engage, and lead pupils through creative and tailored physical education sessions, helping them build confidence, resilience, and social skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver structured PE lessons tailored to meet the needs of pupils with SEMH and behavioural challenges.
Develop innovative activities that promote physical health, teamwork, and emotional well-being.
Use positive behaviour management strategies to engage students and encourage participation.
Work closely with support staff to provide a safe and nurturing learning environment.
Help pupils develop motor skills, self-discipline, and a love for physical activity.
Track and assess progress, adapting lessons to meet the individual needs of students.
Promote social interaction and team-building skills through group sports and activities.
What We're Looking For:
A Qualified PE Teacher (QTS) with a passion for working with children with SEMH needs.
Experience in teaching or managing behavioural challenges is highly desirable.
Strong classroom management skills and a calm, patient approach to supporting students.
A creative mindset to design engaging and inclusive lessons that build confidence and motivation.
Commitment to fostering the physical, emotional, and social development of pupils with SEMH needs.
