About the role:
We are looking for a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant with a specialism in supporting students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs. This rewarding full-time role requires someone who is proactive, patient, and able to create a safe and nurturing environment where students can develop academically and personally. You will work alongside teachers and specialists to support children in Key Stages 1 and 2, providing one-on-one and small group assistance to foster confidence, independence, and resilience.
In this role, you’ll not only help students achieve academic success but also make a meaningful impact on their lives by helping them navigate personal challenges and overcome obstacles. If you’re passionate about making a difference, this is the perfect opportunity to inspire and empower students in a highly supportive and inclusive school.
Application Requirements:

• An enhanced DBS check (or willingness to apply for one).
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide dedicated support to students with SEMH needs in both individual and group settings.
• Collaborate with teachers, SEN staff, and parents to create tailored learning plans.
• Encourage positive behaviour management strategies to foster a productive learning environment.
• Support students in developing social skills, confidence, and emotional resilience.
• Actively participate in school activities, training, and team meetings to continuously improve support.
Perks and Benefits:
This school is deeply invested in the growth and happiness of its staff. As a valued team member, you’ll have access to regular professional development, mentorship, and training opportunities to grow in your role. Enjoy working in a school that values collaboration, supports its team, and promotes a sense of belonging. You’ll also benefit from a welcoming community, a dynamic work environment, and the chance to make a lasting difference in students’ lives. This is more than just a job—it’s an opportunity to join a school family that is truly committed to student and staff well-being.
