We have an exciting new opportunity where are looking to recruit a Project Support Officer to join us in Oxford on a full time, permanent and hybrid basis. Our R & D Lab is based in Oxford where staff specialsie in bringing AI and humans together in order to generate new insurance solutions.

This role will support the Project Manager we aim to explore social issues and develop risk solutions by digital technologies such as AI. We develop products in close collaboration with members of ADJ and ADE and other AD global and aim to deploy to the global market (with a focus on Japan).

Responsibilities

* Support Project Manager to explore social issues by collecting information widely. For example, reducing traffic accidents, the elderly issues, aging infrastructure, cyber security, health care, fraud detection.

* Support the Project Manager to explore solutions to social issues using technology such as AI. If there is no data available in-house, find a partner and propose collaboration for approval.

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify social and business challenges in the industry. Formulate monetisation strategies, including market research and finding partners for deployment for Project Manager approval.

* Work with Mind Foundry or LAB tech teams to develop and design products.

* Working closely with the Project Manager to manage the development process to ensure product development (AI model).

* Manage customer-first apps, designing UIUX and bring products to market.

* Stay up to date with the latest advancements and emerging trends in Business, specifically related to the insurance industry, and provide recommendations on their potential impact on our services.

* Involved in technology-based projects with an eye towards business applications, to ensure ongoing research.

Knowledge, Experience and Qualifications

Essential

* Educated to a degree level or equivalent

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (fluent in Japanese and English)

* Sensitivity and communication skills to accurately grasp the needs of customers and the market.

* Experienced in addressing diverse social issues with a passion for developing effective solutions

Desirable

* Knowledge of advanced technologies such as AI

* Knowledge of Infrastructure or security or Meteorology

* Knowledge of the insurance industry
