Mobile Support Operative

My Hertfordshire based client are a privately owned SME who have been providing commercial cleaning and other soft FM services for over twenty years. They carry out a work on various sites including offices/work spaces, residential, commercial communal areas clinical spaces, retail spaces, theatres, museums and galleries. I am working with them to recruit a full time (40 hours - flexible times based on site requirements) Mobile Support Operative to assist the Mobile Area Manager in the smooth running and high cleaning standard of client sites. The sites are based within London, with a small number in Essex and Kent. Suitable candidates for the role will reside in the areas central to London ideally within the North Circular/South Circular Roads The Mobile Support Operative duties will include:
* Provide Operational support to Mobile Area Manager across client sites.
* Complete site-based staff holiday / sick cover cleaning as requested by Mobile Area Manager
* Complete deep cleaning to sites including Carpet Cleaning / Hard Floor Cleaning / Oven Cleaning / Window Cleaning / Jet Washing to Bin Store areas as requested by Mobile Area Manager
* Complete records relating to tasks performed using Cleanlink system.
* Completion of Site Audits – with both Staff / Clients via Cleanlink system – Reporting issues with Mobile Area Manager and resolving in timely manner.
* To carry out site out-of-hours spot-checks on a regular basis
* Provide training and support to cleaning operatives
* Reporting any faulty equipment, damage, vandalism, or potential hazard to the Mobile Area Manager
* Maintain company vehicle and report any damage or defects
* Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followed and encourage safe working practices on site
* Liaise with Mobile Area Manager to ensure client KPI’s are met
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A long and established experience in the cleaning industry with relevant cleaning skills – update training provided as required
* Be organised and good at time management
* Be reliable, responsible with a flexible approach to work
* Have excellent attention to detail
* Have a good sense of humour.
* Have the ability to work as part of a team and use own initiative
* Have excellent customer liaison skills together with a commitment to customer service.
* Have a knowledge of relevant health and safety legislation and safety procedures
* Have a knowledge of the use of chemicals (COSHH) and Health and Safety legislation
* Have an obligation to adhere to safe working practices
* Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Have the ability to use Microsoft 365, Cleanlink Management System – experience preferred, but training can be provided
Required
* A full clean UK manual driving license
* DBS Enhanced Check
* A minimum of 3 Years relevant cleaning experience is required
A company van and mobile phone/iPad is supplied.
Salary £27,000, Bonus, overtime, Pension – Nest, Holiday – 20 days plus bank holidays
