Mechanical Project Manager

Location: Sunderland

Salary: £55,000 - £60,000

Car allowance: £5,420

We're seeking a seasoned Mechanical Project Manager to oversee all aspects of assigned contracts, from award to final account. You'll manage a team of engineers, surveyors, and support staff, ensuring efficient execution and adherence to budget, schedule, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage a Contract Team across the entire project lifecycle.
Ensure adherence to company systems, regulations, and best practices.
Oversee financial management, reporting, and cost control.
Manage staff performance, including training and development.
Facilitate client communication and ensure project success.
Uphold health and safety protocols on assigned projects.Technical Skills:

Proven experience in mechanical project management.
In-depth knowledge of HVAC/electrical systems and installation methods.
Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, etc.).
Strong understanding of construction contracts and financial management.Success Factors:

Timely and accurate project delivery within budget and spec.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to multi-task, prioritise and solve problems effectively.
