Emotional and Behavioral Support Assistant
Location: Wokingham

A supportive educational facility in Wokingham, specializing in helping students with mental health and emotional needs, is looking for an Emotional and Behavioral Support Assistant to join their team full-time. This role involves guiding students with social, emotional, and mental health challenges, as well as those coping with trauma or attachment difficulties.

Key Responsibilities as an Emotional and Behavioral Support Assistant:

Provide students with the tools to develop social and emotional skills for their future.
Serve as a positive role model, inspiring students to meet high expectations.
Support students in achieving their academic and personal goals by enhancing their confidence and well-being.
Address learning barriers, encouraging students to stay engaged and motivated.
Help students with emotional regulation, social skills, and peer relationships.This position is ideal for someone passionate about mental health and dedicated to helping young people thrive. Graduates in fields like Psychology, Criminology, or Counseling are well-suited for this role. This experience offers a unique pathway into further training as a Therapist, Psychologist, or similar profession, providing hands-on insights into the mental health challenges that young people face daily.

Job Title: Emotional and Behavioral Support Assistant
Location: Wokingham
Focus: Assisting students with special educational and emotional needs
Pay: £83 - £95 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
Start Date: ASAP
