Position: Lead Document Controller
Location: Green Park, London (Office Full Time)
Working Hours: 8am – 5pm
Software: Procore
This is an exciting and rare opportunity to become the standalone and Lead Document Controller within a growing, well-respected high-end contractor. In accordance with their measure growth plan, they are now looking for strong Document Controller to run the department who will initially be covering a couple of their flagship projects in Central London. Aside from a strong skill set and knowledge of Procure, they are seek someone with ambition to grow and develop into a department lead with the goal of managing a team as the company continues to grow.
My client are a well-established, debt free, profitable and privately owned London high end refurbishment specialist who since their establishment over 30 years ago have built up an excellent reputation in their respective marketplace.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Recorded, distribution and updating documents and drawings using a controlled software, Procore.
* Procore setup, implementation & training
* Dealing with timesheets
* Checking dispatch documents are accurate.
* Update the revisions on drawings and as built drawings.
* Printing and scanning documents for supervisors and site manager.
* Ensuring all documented information relating to the project is going through to document management system.
* Downloading/uploading, production of workflow reports/schedules
* Managing booking delivery slots
* Scanning and management of weekly notes to head office.
* Assistance with QA documents.
* To label, log, store and process all sample approvals.
* Establish and maintain a Request for Information log.
* Liaise with consultants/contractors to ensure that all parties are working to the correct
* drawings and other design documents, and to ensure that all parties are issuing documents correctly.
* Keep up to date copies of each drawing and other design/ approval documents on site for the use of the Project Team
* Undertake regular reviews of the system to ensure effective use across the project.
* Document all discrepancies in document issues to trade contractors and professional partners, ensuring that the Project Manager is aware of any discrepancies and that all problems are resolved in a timely fashion by liaising directly with all members of the wider project team.
* Ensure that a drawing rack is set up and maintained with current drawings, detailed on a corresponding directory
* Take responsibility for the production of handover manuals and/or Operation & Maintenance manuals to ensure that approved and finalised documents are issued to the Client at Practical Completion
* At the end of the project, ensure that all project files are collated and correctly archived for easy and accurate retrieval.
* Creating weekly Health & Safety reports for all projects and issuing them to our clients and Divisional Managers.
