International Brand Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Brand Manager with proven experience in driving international market penetration, specifically in the US and Asia markets, to lead on shaping the global marketing plan in this newly created role at Whittard of Chelsea whose Head Office is based in Abingdon, Oxfordshire.
Whittard are passionate about bringing luxury tea and coffee to their communities. They’ve achieved this goal since 1886, and have ambitious objectives to grow their business in the UK and Internationally. The International Brand Manager role is an exciting opportunity to be part of this journey with the Marketing team at the Milton Park office.
Working alongside the Head of Marketing and Global Sales teams, you will lead the development of a high-impact, strategic and innovative global brand plan, translating key objectives into an omnichannel activity plan to drive global customer acquisition with B2B and B2C customers. You will be joining the brand in an exciting period of growth, with ownership and accountability for the global brand marketing plan, allowing you to play a pivotal role in the business and contribute to the brand's future.

Key Responsibilities
Own and run the marketing calendar for the international markets across all channels and markets.
Develop clear test and learn plan in conjunction with B2B and International teams that identifies customer routes to drive customer acquisition as appropriate by market
Ensure creative development for core campaigns takes account of international marketing nuances.
Police marketing content across all markets where responsibility for execution rests outside of Whittard (e.g. Franchise business)
Outline, where necessary, the right promotional strategy to support the in-year campaigns.
Marketing on-point for product & buying & commercial planning teams.
Responsible for identifying and assimilating global market research and consumer research into the Whittard business to shape direction.
Manage the product roadmap alongside the B2B and product teams to access key customer channels and seasonal opportunities.
Skills & Experience:
Experience in brand management or marketing, preferably from a reputable FMCG or luxury brand business.
Classically trained with an understanding of premium brands and a customer-centric approach.
Omnichannel campaign development experience and up-to-date digital marketing are essential.
Proven experience of successfully implementing brands in international markets, US and Asia market experience is a huge advantage.
Strong commercial acumen with an analytical approach to long-term planning.
Adaptable and able to react quickly, with the ability to keep up with a fast-paced, dynamic culture.
Honed senior stakeholder management and influencing skills.
Exceptional verbal, presentation and written communication skills.
