The ideal candidate will be comfortable taking on tasks as and when required, showing flexibility and a willingness to assist in various areas of the school.

Key responsibilities include:

Processing and reconciling petty cash between 2 schools one in Chorley area and one in Lostock Hall

Assisting with lunch arrangements for visitors and ordering sandwiches.

Supporting teachers and teaching assistants with supplies and class group requests.
Taking responsibility for certain health and safety duties, such as file maintenance and audit, and medical room checks and paperwork.

The successful candidate will ideally have some basic accounts experience to effectively manage petty cash and handle financial processes. Furthermore, a strong phone etiquette and the ability to accurately take messages are essential. Applicants should also possess an understanding of safeguarding due to the vulnerability of our pupils.

This role requires a candidate who is a driver and is available to work during term time only, with an additional two weeks towards the end of the summer holidays to prepare for the return of staff.
