Facilities Engineer

The Facilities Engineer will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of the organisation's facilities. This position involves coordinating day-to-day activities related to building services, maintenance, repairs, safety, and compliance. The ideal candidate will act as a point of contact for employees and contractors, ensuring that the workplace is functional, safe, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities for the Facilities Engineer
Oversee the routine maintenance of the building, equipment, and systems.
Coordinate and schedule repairs, preventive maintenance, and regular inspections.
Manage facility cleaning services, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness of the office space.
Record documentation from a risk assessment perspective that is in line with company regulations.
To qualify for the Facilities Engineer, you will need:
Experience in a Manufacturing environment
Previous HVAC experience
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Problem-solving mindset with the ability to prioritise and resolve issues.
Proactive nature, with the willingness to take on tasks.
