Job Title: Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer

Futures is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Apprentice Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Engineering Team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our manufacturing facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machinery and equipment to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  2. Problem-Solving: Analyze and resolve complex mechanical and electrical issues using modern problem-solving techniques.
  3. Preventative Maintenance: Develop and implement effective preventative maintenance programs to minimize equipment failures and reduce maintenance costs.
  4. Team Collaboration: Work closely with other members of the maintenance team to share knowledge and best practices, and to provide support and assistance as needed.
  5. Continuous Learning: Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and techniques in mechanical and electrical maintenance, and apply this knowledge to improve our operations.
Requirements:
  1. Education: HNC/HND or full apprenticeship in a relevant field.
  2. Experience: Previous experience working in manufacturing, with a focus on mechanical and electrical maintenance.
  3. Skills: Strong mechanical fault-finding skills, 16th/17th edition training, and experience with TPM, PPM, and reactive breakdowns.
