The Role

The Audit Manager position offers a unique opportunity to lead a portfolio of risk-themed audits while balancing timescales, budgets, and resources. This role involves developing internal audit capabilities, scheduling audits, and peer reviewing risk-themed audits. The successful candidate will work closely with key stakeholders across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities of the Audit Manager:

Support the development and execution of a flexible, risk-based audit plan
Own and supervise the delivery of assigned audits, ensuring efficient execution and high standards
Build credible relationships with key stakeholders and other assurance functions
Coach and support colleagues on internal control and risk management matters
Manage audit assignments within agreed budgets and timescales
Required knowledge and experience for the Audit Manager role:

Demonstrable subject matter expertise in a financial services environment
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven relationship management and stakeholder engagement abilities
Relevant professional qualification (e.g., accounting, internal audit, or risk)
Experience in adapting and delivering in a fast-paced commercial environment
