The Role: The Office Manager (Executive Assistant, Business Support Executive, Project Support) is a highly varied and responsible role, where as well as providing general business support, you will support the business with the delivery of multiple projects, driving the detail to ensure service levels, client experience and business performance is optimised.
The Person: The successful Office Manager will highly organised, detail orientated, efficient and proactive, keen to take on additional responsibilities and ownership of various projects, while overseeing the smooth running of the office. You will be joining at an exciting phase in the company’s development so you will be keen to learn - while you are likely to have worked in a professional services environment, you will not be expected to know the intricacies of financial planning, as training and support will be provided.
The Company: Wealth Matters are an award winning, innovative and ambitious Accredited Financial Planning firm, repeatedly voted a top 100 Financial Planning firm. Providing bespoke financial planning, estate planning and investment planning they have been helping clients achieve financial freedom since 1999.
Salary and Benefits: Basic salary of £45-55,000 + bonus + pension + hybrid working.The Office Manager will be based in the Luton office and will enjoy working in a small, driven and fast paced team environment, with the opportunity to progress within a company who invest in, value and reward their staff.
Office Manager (Executive Assistant, Business Support Executive, Project Support), responsibilities:
* Provide administrative and business support to ensure the smooth running of the office.
* Act as a solution orientated point of contact for clients and internal staff, by phone, email and face to face, efficiently and diplomatically dealing with any queries or issues that arise and providing excellent levels of customer service.
* Take responsibility for the delivery of a wide range of operational projects.
* Proactively work to enhance business procedures and systems.
* Research, review and manage the relationship with outsourced providers, including overseeing the compliance process.
* Maintain and update the back-office system, ensuring it is running efficiently.
* Produce management information and reports to support with business decision making.
* Support the team with operational issues, as required.
* Manage office supplies and maintain business records.
* General administration to support the needs of the business.
Office Manager (Executive Assistant, Business Support Executive, Project Support), skills and experience required:
* Considerable experience in highly involved administration and the delivery of exceptional customer service, ideally gained in a professional services environment.
* Proactive and self-motivated, demonstrating a high degree of initiative and the ability to develop and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
* A confident, positive and diligent team player who is embracing of change and has the flexibility and pace required to work on multiple projects and prioritise accordingly in a fast paced, small team environment.
* A strong relationship builder, with excellent communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
* Strong organisational and effective time management skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Intelligent, numerate and IT literate with a good knowledge of MS
