White Raven Resourcing Ltd are acting as an Employment Agency in relation to Permanent Recruitment Services.
The systems manager is to oversee the implementation of new technical systems and solutions throughout the entire organisation, including all planning, execution and tracking. To customise the solution integration strategies and account for implementation resources, time and training needs to best support the business and the customer.
Demonstrated ability to communicate to a diverse audience effectively, at multiple levels within our clients organisation using a variety of formats, presentations, emails, leading meetings, etc. The Systems Manager must be able to navigate internal and external processes and overcome barriers to effectively implement new and existing systems. Manage multiple implementations/upgrades/ integrations and various stages and levels of complexity and demonstrate ability to prioritise according to business or customer needs.
The Systems Manager will bring a strong technical knowledge of multiple warehouse management systems and integration solutions, techniques, processes and have a logistics/warehousing background. Using their knowledge, data and experiences to evaluate solutions and provide recommendations for all warehouse management deployments and re-configure.

Ability to partner, form and lead teams with cross-functional groups ensuring common team objectives, goals and milestones are met. The Systems Manager must be able to work with other Managers, both internally and externally across functions, working on new customer on-boardings as well as change management or continuous improvement projects for systemic changes or upgrades for existing customers.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

Successfully lead System Implementation Projects for each customer across the business, meet agreed implementation and integration deadlines and proactively manage customer and stakeholder expectations.

Ensure the delivery of System projects benefits through the correct cost and tracking mechanisms.

Drive the use of WATERFALL, AGILE & SCRUM methodology across all systems projects. Apply knowledge and experience of related process and tools, including Process Mapping, Risk Management, Gate Reviews, Control Plans etc., throughout each project.

Manage all key Systems projects provide clear visibility of key steps that need to be achieved.

Develop appropriate reports within appropriate systems

Develop and maintain strong relationships with project sponsors, cross-functional teams, customers, business partners and stakeholders.

Ensure excellent verbal and written communication skills, organisation, negotiation ability and initiative.

Support other Technology teams by communicating customer requirements clearly and on time, and communicating lead times back to customers.

Design, develop and validate balanced scorecards and dashboards for organisation and customers and make recommendations on improvements

Act as a lead contact for warehouse management systems for priority issues.

Identify mutually beneficial improvement initiatives (including processes and systems), in collaboration with internal/external customers.

Skills/Experience/Qualifications:

Full E2E exposure to multiple WMS, TMS technical capabilities including ERP and CRM

Experience and knowledge of ITIL framework and practices.

Experience of managing/supervising a team in a warehouse/production environment

Background working in Ecommerce and FMCG business

Extensive multiple WMS Experience with a clear focus towards implementation, integration, system support desk up to level 2 initially.

Strong communication and organisation skills

Strong relationship building skills; Good customer focus with excellent attention to detail

Calm under pressure and ability to shift resources around where needed to accommodate demands from multiple projects

Results driven

Progressive experience in Supply Chain management, including responsibilities for/to: Production; Health, Safety & Environmental; Quality; Distribution

Experience working in environments utilising Continuous Process Improvement programmes.

Full understanding of technical system capabilities. Platforms including multiple WMS | TMS | CRM’S ] Webshops | ERP (ability to demonstrate an understanding of 1 or more of these platforms)

Full understanding of WMS Integration to multiple platforms using various of techniques (API / EDI etc)

The willing to learn and understand new systems through self-learning knowledge libraries and communication.

Superuser implementation and management

Understanding of BRC

Full UK Driving Licence

Successful candidate will be required to undergo a basic Disclosure and Barring Services (DBS) Check.
