Learning and Development Specialist

Are you passionate about people development?

An exciting, new opportunity has arisen for a Learning and Development Specialist to join our expanding L&D function at Hayley Dexis You will design and deliver exceptional learning either virtually or face to face for Hayley Dexis Development Programmes through our Inspire platform.

Hayley Dexis is the largest independent distributor of engineering products and consumables (hydraulics, bearings, fasteners, fluid power, PPE, tools, lubricants etc) in the UK. Working hours: 40 hours per week Monday to Friday.

Roles and Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

Deliver an engaging Induction Workshop that welcome new colleagues to Hayley Dexis across over 50 branches

Develop an Induction Programme for new starters

Project lead on Apprenticeship Programme

Develop and execute training sessions and workshops across the branch network on our 4 core learning pillars including sales training (to advanced level) and product upskilling.

Liaise with product specialists to coordinate own brand programme.

Deliver workshops to support company strategy initiatives

Support our sales team with ongoing coaching to help embed learning

Management of eLearning system from our parent company

Support L&D Manager with LMS launch including content creation

Continuously broadening and developing your facilitation skills and learning new content/delivery methods

Evaluate the effectiveness of learning through feedback and transfer to workplace.

Promote professional growth through certifications, workshops, and cross-functional learning opportunities.

Other duties as directed.

Experience Required/Needed:

Minimum 3 experience in learning and development, instructional design, or a similar role.

Experience of sales training delivery to an advanced level

Drivers licence as national travel will be required.

Skills:

Exceptional facilitation and presentation skills

Coaching skills

Proficiency with LMS analytics reporting

Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Teams

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
