Regional Business Development Executive, Telecommunications sector –   Salary £36,000 p.a. with OTE of £80,000

Located in the scenic town of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, our office is less than 30 minutes’ drive from Telford, Wolverhampton, Shrewsbury, Kidderminster, Stourbridge, Dudley and Wombourne.

We are looking for a self-motivated and confident, gregarious team member who is a great communicator and has a can-do attitude. Reporting to the Sales Director, this is an on-the road-based sales position, identifying new customers and developing a network of business connections in the Shropshire and Black Country regions. No technical or market knowledge of the telecoms sector is needed as full training will be given but we would also be keen to interview candidates with telecoms sales experience.

Things you will be trusted to do:

Be an engaged networker – attend breakfast clubs, networking events and Chamber meetings
Call on local business accounts to qualify them for follow-up meetings to develop new sales opportunities for broadband and telephone systems both fixed line and mobile
Generate new sales leads to create face to face appointments with decision makers to develop solutions

Key skills and experience required:

Proven track record in a sales role
Experience dealing with gatekeepers preferred
Excellent communication skills
Target driven with the motivation to succeed
Excellent administrative and computer skills (primarily Word and Excel)
Good attention to detail
You are comfortable asking tough questions
Experience in the service sector
Ability to develop relationships and open new business opportunities via local networking events and exhibitions

Our company works with a huge range of clients from SME’s right through to Directors of larger national accounts and you will be in the thick of the action in the West Midlands.  You will be responsible for regional sales of our telecommunications products and services provided by our partners including BT, EE and 02.

We will give you all manner of support and you will receive on-going sales training to back you up and improve your skills. All you will need to do is turn up to interview with your sparkling persona and convince us to hire you
