The Company
Join an innovative consumer goods manufacturer as a Customer Service Coordinator.
The company boast an international presence, manufacture a range of household brands and supply to major retailers across the UK.
What’s On Offer
* 6-month fixed term contract – strong potential to become permanent
* Full-time working days/hours Mon - Fri 9:00am - 5:00pm
* Salary of £28,000 p.a. (pro rata) - negotiable
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays (pro rata)
The Job
Ensure that customers receive theirs orders on time and in full. You will use your customer service skills and supply chain knowledge to work closely with customers, updating them on product supply whilst also liaising with operations and logistics providers.
* Customer communication – stock shortages/deliveries/order amendments
* Process orders where necessary
* Work closely with logistics providers regarding stock/orders
* Monitor customer service levels
* Ongoing monitoring of customer stock trackers / orders
* Download Retailer EPOS and transfer into Excel spreadsheets
* Raise commercial invoices for export customers
* Production plan upload
What You’ll Need
* Experience in a customer service or supply chain role – ideally working with major retailers
* Sound knowledge and understanding of the supply chain
* Strong IT skills – particularly Excel intermediate level preferred
* Able to communicate clearly and effectively, both written and verbally
* Passionate about customer service
* Problem solving, to challenge existing processes where needed
* Ability to operate and contribute within a strong team environment
* Good time management skills and able to work to tight deadlines
* Ability to use own initiative and work with minimal supervision
