Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver engaging Food Technology lessons that meet the national curriculum.
Inspire and motivate students to develop practical skills and knowledge in food preparation, nutrition, and healthy eating.
Foster a safe and supportive learning environment where creativity and experimentation are encouraged.
Assess and track students' progress, providing constructive feedback to promote continuous improvement.
Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the curriculum and extracurricular activities related to food and nutrition.
Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Food Technology at KS3 and KS4 levels (KS5 is a plus).
Strong subject knowledge of food science, nutrition, and culinary skills.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Passion for education and nurturing student potential.
