Position: Learning Assistant for Exceptional Students (SEND)

We're looking for a dynamic and compassionate individual to join our team as a Learning Assistant. Your mission? To support and empower students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including autism, to thrive in their learning environment.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to help them reach their full potential.
* Collaborating with teachers to create a learning environment that meets the unique needs of SEND students.
* Developing personalized learning strategies that make education accessible and enjoyable.
* Helping students build confidence, independence, and social skills.
* Creating a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom atmosphere.

Students, graduates or experience in childcare will benefit from our FREE training courses:

A guide to becoming a cover supervisor, how to deal with challenging behavior, SEND/ALN, Autism awareness, Formative and summative assessment, Classroom support – The role of a teaching assistant and a Guide to tutoring.
As a Teaching Assistant, you require:
-An enhanced Child Workforce DBS (desirable, but not essential)
-2 years of professional references
-Hold right to work in the UK
