Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding
Location: Glasgow
Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 (DOE) + Commission + Car Allowance/Company Car
Working Hours: Monday to Friday - Manage your Own Diary
Are you a results driven, sales hungry freight business development manager, looking for a new role in Glasgow? This role could be right for you.
My client is offering a fantastic package to help grow their business and Freight Forwarding sector within the UK. The right candidate will be an experienced and fully established sales-person who has worked previously for a UK based Freight Forwarder and have the ability to bring on accounts and business with knowledge and experience with Air Freight, Road Freight and/or Ocean/Sea Freight.
Established and tenacious Operators and Account Managers, with multi modal experience, who are looking to progress their career in Sales will be considered.

To develop and maintain effective business relationships with new and existing clients, offering excellent freight forwarding services.
To generate and follow up sales leads, visiting potential and existing customers to obtain new business at reasonable profit.
Be the forefront of the companies' development by promoting the business to new and existing clients.Requirements:
Freight Forwarding Sales / Business Development Manager Experience is Essential.
Experience working for a freight forwarding company.
Knowledge and experience within Freight Forwarding is Essential.
Hold a full, clean, UK driving licence.
