Coordinating Section 47 investigations to ensure children’s safety, working collaboratively with multi-agency partners.

Creating robust Child in Need plans to support families in achieving stability and positive outcomes.

Preparing high-quality court reports and statements for care proceedings where required.

Building trusting relationships with children to understand their wishes, ensuring their voices are at the heart of your work.

Using Croydon’s Systemic Practice Model to deliver strengths-based, holistic family interventions.

What We’re Looking For:

Social Work England Registration (essential).

3+ years’ proven experience in Children’s Services teams, ideally within Assessment or Child Protection.

Strong skills in decision-making, communication, and time management.

Sound knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989/2004 and Working Together to Safeguard Children (2018).

Your Benefits at Croydon:

Competitive pay of up to £50,574 per annum.

£10,000 Welcome Bonus, paid after probation, as a thank-you for joining.
