TeacherActive are proud to be recruiting for a SENDCO/ Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator. who can develop strong working relationships with schools, parents and external professionals and will support the SEND team at a Nottingham based all age SEND school which caters to pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health difficulties and Special Educational Needs and Disabilities. 

You will play a vital role in promoting effective communication skills among students and help them overcome communication challenges.

As a SENDCO/ Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Coordinator, you will have:

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Empathy and compassion towards others
Experience of working with pupils on the Autistic Spectrum.
SENDco Qualification
SENDco or Deuputy SENDco experience
