My client is seeking a candidate with strong Administration & Customer Service experience to join their team on a permanent basis.

Main Purpose of the role:

* Process orders received by phone or email from trade accounts and Account Managers

* Assist trade customers and resolve general queries such as product information, stock availability, delivery status, returns etc

* Recommend and upsell/promote selected lines depending on company strategy

* Provide support for Account Managers

* Provide support for Marketing projects

* Administration

* Miscellaneous office duties

Skills:

* Friendly, outgoing and professional telephone manner

* Self-Starter and is able to work independently with minimal supervision

* Ability to resolve customer queries/complaints courteously and expediently

* Good retention of product knowledge and management of a wide portfolio

* Good organisational skills

* To work collaboratively as part of a wider team

* Computer literate with orders processed on PCs through accounting software package (training provided)

* Ability to thrive under pressure
