An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, motivated, and innovative pharmacist to join our expanding Medicines Management team at Central London Community Healthcare Trust.
Main duties of the job
We are seeking a pharmacist to provide a clinical pharmacy service at our bedded units within Hertfordshire & North London. We offer full-time, part-time, and flexible working options.
As an integral member of the team, you will provide specialist expertise in the use of medicines while addressing both public health and social care needs of patients. You will be involved in delivering and developing a high-quality specialist Clinical Pharmacy Service across a range of inpatient settings in Community Hospitals, including Rehabilitation Units, Interim Care Beds, Palliative Care, and Discharge to Assess wards. You will be supported by the Lead Pharmacist for Hertfordshire and the Lead Pharmacist for Bedded Services.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities

Clinical Pharmacy Service: Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services across various inpatient settings, ensuring high-quality care for patients in Rehabilitation Units, Interim Care Beds, Palliative Care, and Discharge to Assess wards.

Patient Support: Offer specialist expertise in the use of medicines, supporting patients’ public health and social care needs.
*
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the Lead Pharmacist for Hertfordshire and the Lead Pharmacist for Bedded Services to deliver and develop the Clinical Pharmacy Service.
*
Professional Development: Join a team of Band 7 pharmacists covering a range of rehabilitation specialties. You will be supported by experienced Senior Clinical Pharmacists, allowing you to gain new skills in each rotation and develop strategic, quality improvement, and leadership skills.

Travel Requirements: The post holder may need to travel across different sites within the Trust where we have Bedded Services Inpatients. Therefore, a full, valid UK driving licence and access to a car for business purposes are required (unless you have a disability as defined by the Equality Act 2010)
