National Business Development Manager: £45k-£50k basic £80k OTE, plus car

Our client, a leader within the Yorkshire region for vehicle management solutions are looking to add to their team.

Offering car services ranging from sales, rental, lease, insurance, to both the commercial and domestic market, they now seek a National Business Development Manager within the car rental division, focussed on the B2B market.

The Business Development Manager will be tasked with increasing the client base, as well as increasing spend with existing clients, predominantly within corporate business’s and the accident management sector.

This role would therefore suit Business Development Managers with extensive sales and account management experience from a B2B service provider background, with some knowledge of the automotive industry.

Main Responsibilities:

* Attracting new clients by way of networking events, phone calls, face to face meeting etc

* Utilising contacts from the other divisions within the business to gain new business

* Manage a new client journey from initial contact through to delivery

* Update all client contacts and conversations into the companies CRM

* Provide clients with quotations based on their specific fleet requirements

* Work closely with the marketing department to help drive new business through social media and other activities.

* Overall increase spends with existing clients, attract new business within the corporate vehicle rental sector.

* Ability to work remotely, hybrid or within a local office.

You will require:

* Previous sales and Business Development experience in a B2B environment

* Exceptional sales and account management experience

* An understanding of social media channels to help create content to assist sales

* Experience of the automotive industry, car rental or accident management industry would be ideal

* Have a positive, confident and likeable personality, with a can-do attitude

* Have a strong desire to be successful both individually and as part of the team
