The Role

As our expert on essential water systems, you will be responsible for:

Developing and managing detailed Asset Technical Standards for surface water, drinking water, wastewater, and fire hydrant systems
Providing technical design assurance for water infrastructure projects
Contributing to our 25-year strategy and investment planning
Collaborating with Asset Maintenance teams to assess and optimize asset performance
Helping establish risk tolerance and objectives for asset condition and expenses
Supporting the development of elite asset management practices
Providing expertise on industry-leading approaches to water systems management

Required Qualifications & Experience

Degree in a relevant technical discipline or equivalent experience
Preferably chartered engineer status
Minimum 5 years' experience in water services projects
Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
Proven track record in developing comprehensive asset strategies
Experience in influencing and negotiating at various organizational levels
