Software Engineering Expert for Data Analysis

At Solus Accident Repair Centres, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our expanding Scrum team. Our mission is to develop innovative tools and technology that enable our teams to provide exceptional service to our customers.
About the RoleThis exciting opportunity involves building the next generation of data analysis tools and infrastructure using a range of technologies including web, mobile apps, API, backend, and databases hosted in Azure.
Responsibilities- Develop new products and features end-to-end, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
- Build strong working relationships with third-party suppliers and partners to maximise business outcomes.
- Work across a wide range of technologies, leveraging your expertise to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Collaborate with the team to remove impediments to delivery, ensuring alignment with policy, process, and guidelines.
- Pursue opportunities to share learning and best practices with insurers and other industries, attending key events and forums.
- A solid understanding of Agile values, principles, and approaches, as well as the Scrum framework.
- Advocacy of code quality, clean code, and best practice methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft stack technologies (C#, .NET Core, SQL, Azure).
- Experience with test-driven development (unit testing, mocking, integration testing).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices (CI & CD) and Cloud environments (Azure).
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- A competitive salary of approximately £45,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
